Encoders are mainly used to feedback on the closed-loop system such as motor running position and winding number. Common encoders are divided into incremental encoders, differential encoders, and absolute encoders, which form a closed-loop system with the motor. In some cases, an encoder is used to feedback on the position of the load side.
The encoder, as an effective way of accurate counting and feedback, is assembled at the motor shaft end, which can feedback the rotation direction and rotation speed of the motor to the control part in time, so that the controller can timely understand the working state of the motor and realize closed-loop control, so as to make the work more reliable. Different resolutions can be selected according to different working conditions, conventional 400ppr,1000ppr,2000ppr, and so on.
